Facts:

Defendant was convicted in Richmond of larceny from the person based on evidence that he grabbed money from a restaurant cash register that was being used by an employee. The court affirmed the conviction. The evidence was sufficient to support defendant’s conviction of larceny from the person as opposed to petit larceny. Defendant stole money from the employee’s possession. At the time of the theft, the money was in her immediate custody and control.
